    Me too!

I of course knew they are not "magical" and that they do need to be aimed, LOL.
However, I did not realize how much spread patterns can vary based on brand of ammo.

I really need see what 00 buck 9 pellet will do with my Remington 1100 and my Mossy 500. I need to get into practicing with my shotguns to see what to expect from them.
I was not impressed with the Taurus Judge shooting 410 rounds. I had to be really close IMO to possibly take a BG down and I could possibly just really piss him off.
As usual there are so many myths about guns thanks to the cinema.

Agreed! The Judge is a devastating weapon with 410 at exactly the right distance from the target, but if more than a few feet away, a good portion of the pellets will miss. At least that was what happened with the 2 cylinders of self-defense ammo I tried through a friend's Judge. Based on my very limited experience (10 410 self-defense rounds and a box 45 Colt), a Judge would be great in a small bedroom, but in a large living room, several projectiles would be wasted.

If the only weapon I had were a Judge, I'd keep it loaded with 45 Colt.

Buster, if you find out that your 1100 and 500 pattern differently with the same ammo, please let the community know!
